To the Airport

By Bus: The bus to/from the airport runs to the airlines booking office in the city. We currently do not have much information on the Tianjin airport bus system. If you know something more, please contact us.
By Taxi: Taxi's at the airport tend to be a bit dodgy. If taking a taxi in or out to the airport, always use the meter. Taxi drivers outside the airport are always trying to rip off new comers by bargaining at the exits. You will never come out on top of this deal. From/to the airport to/from the city centre should cost you approx 50RMB.
Tianjin Bus: Because the Tianjin airport does not have as many international flights as PEK in Beijing, you might need to commute between the cities to fly in and out. If you need to do this, a Shuttle Bus runs from Beijing Capital Airport to Tianjin. Pick-up is from the parking lot opposite exit 11. It takes approximately 2hrs. If you've flown JAL there is a free bus service to the major hotels in Downtown Tianjin.
From Tianjin, the bus leaves from Nanjing Rd., every 30min and costs about 70RMB direct to PEK.
