Cinemas
Going to the Cinema in Tianjin is actually around the same price or just a bit lower than in western countries. The quality of theartres is very different depending on it's price. The big cinemas tend to be very clean. Although we are in China, a lot of theatres will play foreign movies in the language it was filmed in with Chinese sub-titles at the bottom (always call to make sure first). Each theatre usually has only one movie on at a time and it will run for about 3 weeks. The movies are almost always the major Hollywood action blockbusters like Spiderman, James Bond or Transformers. You will usually never see anything like Seven or The Shawshank Redemption here.
